TheraPeeps Occupational Therapy Services is a mobile pediatric practice founded by Brooke Olson, OTR/L. We serve children ages 0 through 8 across Campbell, including families near Campbell Union School District schools like Capri Elementary and Forest Hill Elementary. If this is your first time exploring OT, we are built for exactly that conversation. We explain the process clearly, answer every question, and come to your home so your child is comfortable from the first session.
No formal diagnosis is required to begin services. Our approach is neuro-affirming and relationship-based, meaning we build on your child’s strengths, follow their lead, and never use approaches that treat behavior as something to be corrected through pressure. You get a clear evaluation, a practical plan, and a team that explains everything in plain language.
We offer the full range of pediatric occupational therapy services, delivered in your Campbell home, daycare, or school. Every plan starts with a thorough evaluation so we understand exactly where your child is and where they want to go. Our services include:
Some families come to us with a diagnosis in hand. Others notice something is off but have no answers yet. Both are valid starting points. We help children whose parents are seeing sensory processing differences, attention challenges, or difficulty settling into routines. You do not need to have it figured out before you call. We help children with:
Campbell parents choose TheraPeeps because we make pediatric OT feel manageable, not overwhelming. Here is what sets us apart:
We come to you. Therapy happens in your child’s real environment, your living room, backyard, or kitchen table. If you have ever sat on Highway 17 or Highway 85 after a long workday, you know how quickly a late-afternoon clinic appointment can unravel a working family’s schedule. With TheraPeeps, there is no drive down Hamilton Avenue to a waiting room, no scrambling for parking, and no disruption to the routines your family already depends on.
We explain everything. If OT is new to your family, we walk you through every step. What the evaluation looks at, what the results mean, what a session actually looks like, and what your child’s specific plan involves. No jargon, no assumptions.
We are deeply credentialed. SIPT and STAR certified for sensory integration, Board Certified in Autism, trained in DIR/Floortime, SOS Approach for feeding, and Safe and Sound Protocol. Our team brings 20+ years of combined clinical experience to every family we serve.
Our approach is relationship-first. We are not here to make your child compliant. We are here to help them feel safe, build skills, and grow in ways that are meaningful to them and to your family.
We partner with parents. You are not on the sidelines during therapy. We coach you, share our observations, and build home programs that extend the work between sessions, because the real progress happens in everyday moments.
TheraPeeps is a private-pay practice. You pay directly and we provide a detailed superbill after every session. A superbill is an itemized receipt with the clinical codes your insurance carrier needs to process an out-of-network claim. Many families find that their plan covers 40 to 80 percent of eligible costs through out-of-network benefits. Our fees are transparent and discussed before any services begin.
Many employer-sponsored plans in the South Bay include out-of-network therapy benefits that cover pediatric OT. It is worth a call to your HR department or benefits line before your first appointment. If you are unsure what your plan covers or how to read your benefits summary, call us at (650) 204-0677 and we can help you figure out the right questions to ask.
That is one of the most common things we hear from Campbell families, and it is completely okay. The process starts with a phone consultation where we listen to your concerns and answer your questions. If we move forward, we schedule a comprehensive evaluation, typically 60 to 90 minutes in your home, where we observe your child’s movement, play, sensory responses, and functional skills. After that, we share what we found in plain language, discuss our recommendations, and build a treatment plan together. We go at your pace and make sure you feel informed at every step.
We understand that cost is a real consideration for families in Campbell, and we want to be upfront about it. TheraPeeps is a private-pay practice, which means you pay out of pocket and we provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Many plans will cover 40 to 80 percent of eligible costs, which can significantly reduce your actual expense. We also discuss fees transparently before services begin so there are no surprises. If you are unsure what your plan covers, call us at (650) 204-0677, we can help you figure out the right questions to ask your carrier.
Yes, absolutely. We serve families throughout the Campbell area, including neighborhoods close to Downtown Campbell, Campbell Avenue, and surrounding residential areas. Because we are a fully mobile practice, we come to your home, you do not need to drive anywhere or find a clinic. If you are within our service area and are not sure whether we can reach you, just give us a call at (650) 204-0677 and we will confirm coverage.
Yes. You do not need a diagnosis to begin OT. Many of the children we work with come to us because a parent or teacher noticed something, difficulty with transitions, extreme reactions to sounds or textures, trouble calming down, but there is no formal label yet. Our evaluation looks at your child’s full sensory and developmental profile and helps us understand what is driving the behavior. From there, we build a plan that targets the root cause, not just the surface behavior.
If your child receives OT through Campbell Union School District, that service is specifically designed to help them access their education, meaning it focuses on what your child needs to function and participate in a classroom setting. TheraPeeps works on the full picture of your child’s development, including sensory regulation, feeding, emotional skills, play, and everything that happens outside of school. We also work in your home, which means we can directly support routines like mealtimes, getting dressed, and bedtime transitions. Many families use both, and we are happy to collaborate with school OTs to make sure the two approaches complement each other.
