Therapy in your Bay Area home, with a uniquely designed care plan.
Our Mission is to build upon a child's strengths and individual differences to promote independence in their daily life. We provide a holistic and play based approach to work in conjunction with parents, teachers, and health practitioners to create the best care plan for your child.
A pediatric occupational therapist specializes in working with infants and children who have special needs. These may include challenges such as traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, ADHD, autism, feeding disorders, learning difficulties such as dysgraphia. A pediatric occupational therapist trained in a subspecialty of sensory processing looks at the whole child as an individual within their environment. This may be in their home, school, or community. They work to remediate skills that are impacting them in their everyday functioning.
A Pediatric Occupational Therapist with additional training in DIR/Floortime focuses on development of social emotional skills through relationships. This means that we help parents understand their child's individual profile; which in turn helps them to connect with each other. An Attuned parent or play partner helps children learn new skills and develop deep trusting relationships that bring joy to their lives.
TheraPeeps provides occupational therapy to children and families throughout Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Los Gatos and parts of San Jose.

Brooke is a Bay Area and Santa Cruz pediatric occupational therapist whose love for working with children began when she was in grade school helping her mom care for special-needs children.
As a mother of two, she is passionate about helping empower parents. Brooke helps Bay Area and Mountain View parents navigate what can be an overwhelming landscape of teachers, doctors, and clinics to provide a customized holistic treatment program for each unique child.
Brooke specializes in in-home therapy, and addresses the whole child, including their environment, culture, family, school, routines, and play. Using this “whole child” lens, she customizes a program to fit a child’s unique needs within their home, school, and community.
Brooke has a degree in Occupational Therapy and certifications in: Sensory Integration and Praxis Test Certification (SIPT), STAR Level 1 and 2, DIR/FCD Model CL1 and CL2, and trainer levels, Sequential Oral Sensory feeding approach (SOS), Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Integrated Listening Systems (iLs). Brooke partakes in ongoing mentoring with DIR/Floortime Profectum Foundation therapists and STAR therapists to maintain the most up to date practice in occupational Therapy.

We will find the time that works best for you. During this initial phone call, your therapist will ask you questions to learn more about your child and your family’s needs. The intake paperwork will be emailed to you to complete at your convenience. Parent questionnaires may be emailed to you as part of the assessment process.

This is a 1:1 comprehensive evaluation of your child that takes from 1-4 hours (depending on needs) and may be done over one or several days. This assessment includes clinical observations at your home and your child’s school, interviews with parents and teachers, standardized tests, and parent report forms. A written report of the results with recommendations for goals and treatment will be created.

Treatment varies depending on age and diagnostic needs. Treatment will occur in person at your home. Typically, there are 30 one-on-one sessions conducted 3-5 times per week.

Some families prefer to continue with ongoing therapy or consultation services after the completion of the initial 30 treatment sessions. These are done on a case-by-case basis, and goals are discussed between therapist and patients.

Groups are available and can be an excellent follow-on to the initial 30 treatment sessions.
