Learning how to write or how to improve your writing does not mean you need to sit and practice writing letters for hours at a time! 

An important part of handwriting is visual motor integration. Lots of kids have trouble with sequencing how to draw a simple picture and, that translates over to learning how to draw letters correctly. Some people use books to learn the step-by-step of how to draw.

I love YouTube videos. This particular one is great! The artist teacher breaks down the steps to drawing a turtle to make the activity successful for this child.
